Sorry to hear this. We had to put our 9yo chocolate lab down in June last year and it hurts for a while.

She is still afraid of going up the stairs in the house.
I am certain she doesn't like the "hollow" design, might make her feel uncomfortable/unsafe.
Touching the fifth step is as far as she'll follow me, for now.
There will be no escaping her once she gets over her fear.
The owner of her mom calls her "Black Arrow" which is very suiting as she's is fairly small but very fast.
Gorgeous black cutie!
