Wait until you get the other one to mess with. They accept mods quite well. Just a muff mod and gasket delete makes it act like a different saw. That’s how my brother is running his. I ported mine, it was good then I advanced the timing and it really came to life. They have good port timing out of the box.

I'm a bit surprised that advancing the timing didn't jack up the fuel injection timing at the same time. Interesting
