early flat caps, gotta be heated cause the handle is zip tied on, I might know a guy
If it is mine that is the 084 I passed on when I went to Indiana to visit Joe and picked up a nice 088, 064, MS200T and MS201T.
I told John (Tbone) how nice it was and it ended up showing up at his place.
When he started thinning the heard he damn near begged me to buy it cheap.
How could I resist a bone stock 084 arctic full wrap?
The 088, MS200T and MS201T all found new homes but of course the 064 is still here with it's brothers. I don't count em, if I did I would have to polish them all and then some of them aren't ported so I would have to fix that somehow, its a vicious circle I tell ya!!
If that aint my saw disregard my rambling :)

Looks like an 075/76 to me, possibly gear drive?

recoil cover looks wrong to me for the 075/76
075 is usually more bulbous and roundy and the 076 has the removable insert once they got to be square like that
I have "ahem" one or two here but none of them are the same, those Germans knew somehow that it was gonna one day really mess with my brain

actually maybe the recoil does have the insert, that makes late 075, or 076 a strong contender, I don't know the physical clues for a gear drive (is there even one other than the 051?)

those huskies are nice and all but I wanna see that lonely Stihl. The one that looks like it's keeping those logs from rolling away:)
