The Keeper - I built this saw from split cases up with the knowledge I gleaned from AS and SH, I bought parts mostly from Ebay, all OEM and ended up with a 046D cylinder for it that I cleaned up using the "randy" method.
I ran this saw for more than a year with the wrong oil seals because some body told me the bearings AND oil seals for the 044 and 046 matched. In fact only the bearings match the seals are visually close unless you have both in hand.
When it finally developed a leak, my climber was running it and shut her down mid cut and told me " this saw is the leak Dave, no more run, you fix" and put it in the back of the truck after taking off the bar and chain. I got lucky.
This past year I picked up a ported 046D jug from Miller Mod Saws that I put on my baby. Everything inside still looked great and the 046D that I had installed initially is now on Mike (Glock37)'s next project saw.
It picked up about 30 PSI and is an angry mutha in the wood. Carl told me it would like an 8 tooth and he didn't lie :)
This badboy wears Metals406 Dawgz and enjoys mimosas on the beach.

The Crew-saw - when I need a second good saw on a job where there are guys I wouldn't trust to fuel/run a ported saw properly this pawn shop find comes along with the MS261.
inexperienced crew guys normally run rebuilt MS361 saws
She ugly but aint afraid of the work, I will have a ported MS441 one day, it seems hard to believe how nice these really are, a smooth, even power band in all situations and never choppy even in bore cuts with a big bar.

Brutus - a labor of love but I must be an elephant cause the gestation is now over a year and counting.
I have good money for a full wrap bottom AV buffer for this monster, seriously name your price.
I aint afeared!!
still needs a ton of TLC, but it will be wicked one day.
Cant imagine what I have spent on it so far.

The Grunt - first saw I ever sent Randy after Brad said he was the best in the business for waking these beasts up.
I got it in trade for a lathe from GR8Mac on AS and then mistook him in my memory for 08F150 because they both have a damn number in their screen nameso_O
Wearing Metals406 puppies, this buttercup doesn't drink chardonnay she guzzles fuel like it's free!!
Has a new shroud with plastic still on the metal tag after the last really nice top cover went to visit another builder for a NOS build that needed a minty badge, someday this will get the NOS HD filter setup I have in a box for it and a few more cosmetic touches.
Cuts anything, cuts angry, only stops if it cant find any more wood anywhere.

The newcomer - just picked this up from Shaun Carr recently a little light sabre of an 044 with a full wrap and an 046 Air cleaner setup, a bit of a mutt, looks wise which means nobody is afraid to run it :)
She is purty to me and a predator in the wood. I need more time on this saw to be more detailed, but I like it a lot

oh you must pay homage to the greatness that is the 044 Arctic, failure to do so will be dealt with harshly

Know what the case gasket of a never fueled / never run 044 looks like?

Like a frikkin centerfold you found in the neighbors garage when you were 13 is what!!!

I suppose it would be rude not to include the boudoir shot, so here she is letting it all hang out.

The Doc - I will be picking up the crankcase from a local machinist on Monday so hopefully she will look a little nicer and make threatening noises in the vicinity of wood soon.
