The only one I can think of the owner said he didn't want it back(junk saw) that I could have it for salvage. otherwise everyone has taken their saws back.

I feel that gender stereotyping chainsaws isn't fair to their preferred identity pronouns. Always ask to be sure if saw in question is abandoned and don't just presume.

Instead of measuring in amounts of time, consider changing to weight. Ounces, grams, and what not.
