That cat is gone!! Talk about very secure and comfortable!!Got 1 crashed out.
That is a bummer to hear, hopefully she found shelter and will make it back home soon. We have a cat that has feline herpes, sounds like she has hay fever year round, at times blows nose bubbles with snot or has crustys that require a tissue. The things we do for them!!Little Blackette vanished from inside my house bout 2 weeks ago.
I am very sorry to hear that. It may have been her time to go and she wanted to go back to nature to make her exit.Little Blackette vanished from inside my house bout 2 weeks ago. Woke up from a nap with her on my lap, gave her a little loving, she sneezed and jumped off, caught her and wiped off her nose with a tissue, put her down in the living room, and that is the last time I can remember seeing her. I called some outside cats in for dinner and when I opened the door the youngsters run out like usual, I expect she was with them and i didn't notice. She was strictly an indoor cat because she tested fiv positive and 2 vets said getting her spayed was too risky. In over 2 years I can only remember about 2 times her getting out the door when I was holding it open and when she made it to the grass she looked confused and didn't know where to go and I was able to retrieve her immediately.
This time I didn't see it happen, went ahead and fixed each of 11 cats a dinner plate and went to serving each and she was not in her spot. All I knew she was in the house but I couldn't find her, so I took some rounds of the house calling, nothing. It was very windy, on the cold side, raining off and on. Went back in checked all I could see, closets, covers, basement there is a small hole by the bathtub drain she possibly could of squeezed down there but no. Night soon come ,same weather, never found her. I am at loss to what become of her . I don't think she would of survived the elements long if she didn't get in somewhere. She was thin, not well purred, and ignorant of the outdoors.
