What brand are OEM bearings? They're not made by Stihl.
True, but quality is irrelevant if OEM was promised.
I've no doubt you're right on all counts. The concern isn't the quality. The concern is what I was billed for.
My "brand new" OEM bearings. Really puts the "O" in OEM. One is shot. View attachment 81321
I agree, the entire package is one of total dishonesty. Being charged for a port job when not a porting tool even came close to the jug is 100% theft.
Show us more of the ports in that cylinder. Get some light on them.
They look oem factory Brad. I have seeen them Portugal bearings before. OEM all worn out.
@BrokenSVT , what oil and mix do you use?
What Jason did to you and others is tragic, I have trouble fathoming how someone could be like that. I'm thinking it has to be drugs. He squandered a huge opportunity. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!!!
However, I'm glad your saw is now in good hands. Dr Al is a heck of a guy, and builds a mean 046/460. I know, I have the first one he did, and it screams!
He actually allowed me to watch him port my jug, it was incredible! He is the real deal!
I don't like Stihl ultra. Can you buy some Motul 800/Belray H1R/Amsoil Saber and run at 32:1 please?I use the Ultra Stihl oil, and mix it heavier. I use 10 ounces of oil measured out, to 2.5 gallons of non ethanol 90 octane available locally. Makes a nice 32:1.
