I think about 15,000. That saw seems to like a little more RPM than the other two. I think the others were at 14,500 and 14,700. Does not have the torque of the ported 460s, but if you let the saw "work" in it's zone, it is very close to as fast. That was brand new, untouched, RSL chain on the 28" light bar. Cut just about the same speed with a 20" bar and my hand sharpened RSL.

Why would you move your hand to the right a half inch ?

The internal clutch changes the balance of the saw by moving the B&C further to the right, with an external clutch it is closer to the center. To compensate, and make the saw "sideways neutral", you would move your hand to the right.

I deduced this hypothesis using a combination of Geometry, Trigonometry, Physics and er, um, a, ... common sense!

By the way, I'm impressed with your arm wrestling feat. I was pretty competitive in the local taverns, but a guy in our Albany office sand bagged me by just telling me he wanted me to arm wrestle a friend of his. Turns out this guy had won one of those competitions, and he destroyed me. I was not in his league.

Arm wrestling is mostly technique. Some strength too.

My dads youngest brother won it in 88' and took the crown from a guy named brett fulton.

Almost every year its won by a carpenter/ framer or a concrete guy..strong wrists..i think a steamfitter won it in 2012...i dont follow the circuit much anymore.

But those strong wrists might be from too much jerkin off...
