I think the lawnmower business will always be their big product, so the chainsaw stuff is just a side line. They have years of experience, but it is not their priority or passion. And since there is no one close by who is really better, they keep selling.

The technical classes like gold and platinum for Stihl cost money. And most dealers won't spend the money to send their guy to learn a little something. I think it's because if the tech leaves he takes the certification with him. So then the dealer is back doing it again. Most shops don't keep guys to long so they see it as a waste. I think it was over $1500 after the class, plane ticket, meals, and the guys salary. to send a guy. I can't say there's another dealer near by I would send my stuff to if I needed to. Just like my car no one knows about it either.

Im still here to say MY PERSONAL 362C that Randy ported was a VERY AWESOME PERSONAL SAW!!!:D
And yet it's not in your sig with your "personal 562xp".:zplayita: Maybe it was discussed- but does it become a "personal _________'' at the time of sale, or is it a "personal________" from the outset of ownership? I gets confused.:SimpHomer:

Well Ill tell why and only why I got rid of the MMWS 362c was because my buddy John traded it to me for a MMWS 390xp!!:DLol! I wanted the 390 and John wanted my 362R so it worked out well without spendin $$$ :). My 362c was the 1st Randy ported and he did an excellent job pulling the torque and rpm out of that saw
