Well figured ther a mushroom thread and we needed a asparagras thread.
Was just out and got enough for a meal.

Ever cook asparagus on the BBQ?

I do all the time. It's awesome.

Coat them with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Put em on the grill till they are just a little limp but still snap when you bend them.

Iv heard they are good on bbq. I will defininitly try them the way you decribes.

The hunt is on now. Gonna hit a few spots tomorrow and get some more.

the spot i was at today. I could have filled a grocery bag full but dont like to be greedy lol. And it get me and the boy out. The road is just loaded for some reason. Guess the birds muat have crapped a lot from the hydro linea lol.

Mine come from the garden though, not wild. Planted about 20 roots 7 years ago, and I could never get them to grow right.

I was told when ya plant them ya shouldnt pick them for the first four years. I would like to plant some hear too.

I used to hate as a kid (probly cause it is good for me) i tried it a few years back fried in a pan slow with a little cooking oil ans rock salt and seasoning salt and now i cant get enough.

Oh and any stuff i have baught in store dont tast anything like wild or fresh from a veggie stand.

I was out and got some more today. Gonna hot this spot about every three days.

Pickle it. Heck my boy eats it like its going out of style. isnt any left over to pickle lol
