Send it to me Carl and I'll dispose of it.

I rebuild them every day damn neer that are worse than that.

Looks like a good cleaning and some seals will fix her up
O it ain't that bad she'll be good to go when I'm done. Just will be upside down in her. Happens to all of us. Lol.

I think the piston will buff out! Well once you turn it down to 52mm on the lathe.

The oh sexxy for sure seems like the site favorite this year.
She went from dog to hog in the 2 years I've been around

What the 064 has been reduced too. Not such a sweet CL buy is it. Ugh :(
Most of mine have looked like that too. Sucks that you didn't know it wouldn't run

Aren't the ms saws powder coated the same as the old ones?
660's and 066's look bout the same to me
My ms440's do not flake off like the old saws ,my 660 is 5 or so years old i think ,bottom has all the paint still ,the wrap saws have more bottom protection also ,the wrap handles do flake though ,the black paint is flaking off my 440's at the rh lower elbow .

Do you think the previous owner may have loosened the cylinder bolts to view the damage of his straight gas effort? Or maybe he got his local steal dealer to check it out who gave him a repair quote of $650-850 so he thought fork it, I'll sell it for what I can. The dealer did not torque the head bolts as the saw was not going to ever run the way it was. Hope you got it cheap & turn it into something nice. This model is flavour of the month.

It don't look like straight gas to me.
I believe she just seized a little.
It still ran so I doubt he knew anything about it,I could be wrong though.

It did run and was getting lots of Lube. Bar lube anyway. Lol. I'll give DD a call and she'll be all new before long. Will make someone a good saw. :aaaaa:
