I can get the entire crankcase for $36.48 right to my door. Mebbe that would be the easiest and most foolproof way to go?

Ok, I got my BC2400 back together. She has strong spark, compression is 60 psi according to my automotive compression tester with a long rubber hose so that should translate to about 100 if using a gauge suitable for small engines. Problem is, she won't start or do anything, even with mix poured into the carb. Any ideas here? I know the carb needs a rebuild or replacement, but I would think it should run a little bit with fuel poured into it.

Remove the spark plug and check for spark. Then drop some fuel into the chamber. The top of the cylinder. Place the spark plug back, pull on the pull start and see if it starts.

Thanks. The machine does have spark, however I am thinking now it is not strong enough to run. The spark looks small to my eyes and kind of orange. It won't do anything with fuel poured into the carb or directly into the cylinder. Tried a known good plug, no difference.
