Hi all,
i recently purchased a mint FS 250 Stihl trimmer. Has the autocut 25-2 head on it which I don't care for, and only runs up to 0.105 line. I would like to run .115 or .130 line. stihl makes a 36-2 head which will supposedly do it but again, not crazy about the stihl heads.
Dose anyone have any experience using a speedfeed head or any tap and go aftermarket head with 115/130 line? It seems like the speed feed is only rated up to 105, though some product descriptions (not on echo/oregon literature) but on third party sites, say up to 0.130. Not sure if that's a mistake or intentional and they know something that echo/oregon doesnt.
I know about blades and have a FS 450 that spins all the blades in the world..interested in running a wide swath of strong thick string on this one...
