Gave my 395 a mild port job, some timing and a mm of course. I have to say it's the nicest large modern saws I've had my hands on, and it wants an 8 pin with the 32" bar I had on it. I plan on doing some machine work some day, and have a better carb sitting here that I'll slap on it some day. I know it has a lot more in it, but it's sometimes hard to go back in a saw when it already runs well.
I honestly didn't find the weight all that bad, especially if you're just bucking big rounds.
