What is the better option HE-22A or hd-34c? I've got experience with quite a few hd series walbros and haven't had any complaints. I don't know so much about tilloston.

Walbro hd-16 or an hd-17 is what I’d try to source for a 361
What would I have to change? I know the metering diaphragm plate is different a hd-34c it being a bent tube vs hd-17s ovalish shape. (Sorry long day to much 2 stroke fumes) I'm going to assume that the impulse and fuel lines are in the same place? I don't currently have the saw in my possession but I will here soon.

Been a while since I was into a 361. I believe it’s just the metering plate and maybe the choke rod?IMG_2523.jpeg

Impulse line can change like the one in your pic. Choke rod also had to be modified if I remember right.

My Stihl MS 361 that I bough in 2007 is running fine today. I never had to replace any parts and never modified anything. Still a great saw and still runs fine today. 'Nuff said.

I have had two Ms361's. One stock and one Kevin ported. A stock 361 is a huge turd and at least needs a muffler mod to run right. A XS ported one is in a different league all together.

Ya I've widened and lowered the intake left the lowers alone for the most part. Did a little bit to the uppers, widened exhaust and cut the base about the thickness of the gasket that why I get the benefit of a delete and leaving it in.
