Any idea on the timeframe / expected availability on these?
I've got an MS390 and an 039 now, two more MS390s on their way here.
It would be cool to have a couple ready by October for Randy's GTG.
@Gentleman
Possible but I don't think so. The factory said they need 2 months. Could be sooner but usually takes longer.

It fits hyway, cross and OEM. Dry fit numbers showing 10-15psi bump.

Dry? Unless these engines were run, compression test results are kind of meaningless.

I'm a little unclear on what these pistons were designed to fit. Do they fit an OEM spec cylinder or an AM one with a lip in the squishband?

They are made to fit the OEM 390 chamber and some AM ones. I think we test fit 3 AM cylinders and it will fit 2 of them, the last was really messed up.

I'm not worried about it fitting my AM jug. If I welded up a piston I would have to hand fit it anyway. Just put a bit of clay on top of the piston and check the clearance.

The only problem could be with someone that has limited mechanical experience, but those people don't rebuild chainsaws anyway.
