I watched this video when trying to decide which trimmer to buy this spring lololol. That guy had me rolling with the way hes swinging those wakers hahaha.

I myself settled on the fs130 for a few reasons. Any used fs250's i found were very pricey.... All for just a little more hp?? Of course if found a better priced one on the local craigslist long after i bought my 130

fs250 is an incredible machine. I bought mine back in 2000. Never have had to work on it. Ive replaced the head a few times though.

The FS 250 is a nice balance between power and weight , nimble enough to do trimming but enough balls to do some brush clearing too .

It's too bad the back pack versions never caught on in NA , Stihl blew it with poor marketing in part .

That is an FS-240, looks like. Sounds like it has a similar issue to mine, lousy throttle response. I did increase the idle speed and that helped. I think a muffler mod is in order. ;)

Put many hours on the FR 350 in the avatar , got it in 2003 and I had to redo the fuel lines and carb 2 years ago . The only other thing gone wrong was I had to replace the flex shaft but that was partly my fault . NC , lifetime warranty on shafts .
Might look goofy but they work great , less fatigue and awesome on uneven ground , hills and the like .
