A good observation, sorry if there's been any confusion with this stuff folks. I forgot how many variants of these parts are out there. To clarify, these parts came off a 2012 standard ms362 with serial 289894395. It was non m-tronic with the adjustable carb. I will include part numbers with the pics and prices. Also I highly encourage folks to ask questions if ya got em. I want to make sure people are getting what they need.

Thanks for posting this information. Now it is clear. You offer parts for a previous version saw, which means:

Carburetor bracket is: 1140 120 0901
Intake manifold is: 1140 140 2500
Air guide shroud is: 1140 080 0900

These parts have to be used for MS 362 saws before the slanted fin cylinder was introduced. Also the air guide shroud is a version for the older flat air filter not the new round HD2 type.

Could I get some input from folks on this piston? It's an old KS piston for an 064. Has some wear on top and some dings from the the saw ingesting something. Skirts seem good though, there's a scuff on the exhaust side but I can't catch anything with my fingernail. Ring grooves and landing pins are good. Piston to Cylinder wall clearance is .003 and that was tested on a very used 064 cylinder. Stihl logo is barely visible on top and I can see the letters BE showing. Is it still usable or should I toss it in the recycle bin?

To me, that's a usable piston. That's as far as the skirts and ring lands look. The top has "hot spots." Could lead to detonation?
My knowledge is coming from the 4-stroke world.
Could the top be filled with weld and still be worthy? Shaped smooth afterwards of course.

Some carbs to add. One is a new old stock Bing 49 for the 064. Two Walbro carbs for 064/066 are good but probably need a kit or cleaning. 044 walbro carb is in good used shape. 044 Zama carb is also in good shape and ready to go, passed pressure/leakage test. Chinese carb is for 1128 series saws. All the ms250 carbs and ms170 carb will need kits. One of the ms250 carbs has the fixed high jet.
