Got it in some wood...32" out of the box rs chain( if I remember right.). Don't have any wood available where I'm at for cutting bigger cookies...so noodling it is....may I say, for my first ported saw...this is IMPRESSIVE! I did lean on it a little, with little to no slowdown in chain speed. I'm glad I was a ways off the ground...it was Piling up those noodles in a hurry. Now I will have to start working on some chains to see what kinds of gains I can make!!

My 064 hybrid will probably go 15000 but everytime I take it apart the piston is cracked. :)

DDs will probably go 15000 but I'll let him try it.;)

Maybe the solution is to make a relief cut into the piston where it normally cracks the way they do with concrete slabs so that the stresses merely flex the piston walls allowing them to seal more tightly against the cylinder increasing compression and making a better running saw.
Now that we have all decided that is a genius idea we can start a new thread on what mater'ial is best to insert in the slot and the merits of different slot widths and locations. Softer aluminum, copper, GOLD!!!! Diagonal spiral slots with beveled edges so we don't hang a ring??
Early morning brilliance I tell ya:campeon2:
