that’s a 044 tank by the orange plastic filter mountI’ve got one. Looking to sell everything in the photos. Have more parts also.

046 is about 3/8 wider and also the carb mount studs are about a half inch or more longer on the 046I was under the assumption that it would fit both?

I agree. That’s an early 044 fuel tank. Still has the old style impulse line that was used on the 10mm saws, low profile fuel cap and no spot for the metal chain guard on the corner of the tank.also by the air filter mount that says it’s a early model and probably a zama carb hiding under there with no snorkel
