Does anyone have a 034 crank out that could give me a rough length of the connecting rod from center of big end pin to center of small end pin? Thanks in advance

I believe that is known as the piston stroke:
34 mm (1.34 in.)

Here's an interesting thought. Maybe that's what Stihl used to set the 034 model number.
I don't think the length of the connecting rod necessarily is the same length as the stroke you can have a different length rod but same stroke it would just change piston placement

aprox 58mm or 2.295". I measured off an 036 crank with a failed big end bearing.

As an added note, the 039 crankshaft has the same 1125 part number on the connecting rod.

I have an 036 crank that has a gritty bearing just sitting on my bench.
If you want it for whatever, mock up, paper weight, Christmas gift, just shoot me your address.
I'm not sure why I've kept it..

I was just curious the length of the rod for a project I have in mind is it 58mm as well? Is it the same as 034?

You are right. I stand corrected. Sometimes I need my head examined. This is one of those times. :sconf:

034 and 036 share the exact same crank. The size the same, but there have been multiple crank weight and rod styles through the years. I’ve even seen a skeletonized conn rod on an 034.

I roughly measured the 1125 conn rod at 60mm, but I’m sure Pincher’s measurements are more accurate. I only measured for the Torquesoft timing degree program, and rod length didn’t matter very much.
