HELP! Stihl 020 t intake boot leaking

Installed new boot ,Plastic Sealing block is good,Has Anyone use a clamp on these and is there room for clamp below the plastic sealing block

I've never seen a new boot leak at the cylinder. is it a oem boot? correct boot? part number?

Yeah it’s an OEM boot ,Correct part number ,Is it possible the plastic holder is worn and not holding it tight enough

Unless the boot holder is broken or cracked I don't see how it would be problematic.
They are usually really tight, to the point of being hard to get on/off.
And no, no room, or need, for another clamp

I have used some motoseal on the boot before sliding it on and installing the ring.

If the boot and holder are ok…?

I got it figured out,I didn’t quite have boot lined up right

That’s the first time I had saw apart that far,That’s a Neat setup and they are actually Really easy To work on

Anyone attending the GTG please make sure that you check in at the clubhouse when you arrive!

People can start arriving on Friday morning (because they shoot trap on Thursdays) who will be camping on site. The back road will be open to the trap range as it it easier to get campers up that road. Signs will be out directing people at usual.
