I've taken 100's of tonnage trains up and down this 2% grade hill. Believe me,this is truly impressive.
That line is in part of the territory we maintain. This engine is in Dudley Pa. Not far from the Broadtop line. Not sure if it was ran on that line.View attachment 238513

Those heavyweight Pullmans a minimum of 80 ton each. And there's twenty of them. Plus six gondolas of coal,the tool car and the APU(I think) on the rear. Probably total close to 3000 ton.that was truly amazing how that engine dug in and pulled up that hill
And there’s some beautiful coaches hooked up nice livery on the Norfolk line
