Why is this saw on Atl Craigslist and the saw is in Monroe/ Charlotte NC? Also the only James River I know of is a heavy equipment dealer. They sale skidders, feller butchers, excavators and such. Maybe James River has a smaller tractor store that deals in Stihl? Weird...

James River is also a John Deere dealer and a Stihl dealer. So it makes sense they could have serviced the saw.

Ok, I wasn't sure. I did know they are a John Deere dealer. So if the ad is from Monroe Ga wonder why the saw was serviced in Charlotte? It's a killer deal on that saw. I was thinking of buying a 661 but it's hard to beat that price, if it actually exist.

Maybe the guy lived in the Charlotte area? Bought the saw from someone in that area? Was working a job up that way?
Who knows? I think people are way over analyzing this situation. If I'm interested in a saw, I go look at it, run it, check it over and make my offer. I don't spend all my energy playing out every scenario.
