It's as dry as a desert under the piston 😉 the side air filter is clogged and I'm worried about the black clutch drum. The H&L screws in the carburetor are slightly unscrewed

Mine looked very similar when I tore it apart. I had a seal that had not remained seated properly on the clutch side. It had cocked 10-15 degrees, and was one with a rubber mating surface to the case. Both seals got replaced with seals that were metal(case side) and double lipped. Also check the fuel tank vent line, mine was missing the external vent and had been plugged. Maybe contributed to part of the lean condition.

I think the cylinder is poorly screwed in and the screws in the carburetor only need one turn, the screw was screwed in the fuel tank vent pipe / The instructions refer to the initial setting of 5/4 screws in the carburetor / The screw in the cable is also in the parts catalog and I thought I invented it 😉

Hello group.I'm looking for the carry handle & OPL (operator's presence lever) for either a 639,645,or 650.The IPL says they fit all 3 models.

When I saw it, I almost fell off my chair 😉 and tomorrow I'll take a photo of what was in the fuel tank / Just shake the Christmas fuel and you will see the magic 😉 like in a crystal ball

There was a small amount of cleaning to do, crankcase wise. I didn't remember to give it the air hose cleaning before I started taking this saw apart. Won't forget to do that for a while.

It's about this dark coating under the piston

Pretty sure it was dark - carboned, but not sure if I'm remembering the right saw piston. I'll get a picture, but it will take a couple of days to get to it . . .

It's greasy and can be wiped off with a cloth, a residue from bad oil? Or maybe someone poured different oil into the fuel

Does anyone know much about the little 633 (36.3cc)? I had my local hardware store drop it off last night & he told me it "runs rough".After he left I fired it up & it wouldn't throttle up without bogging.I knew it needed a carb adjustment,so I opened up the lo 1/4 turn & it throttled up nicely. Then I tried WOT & it did the same,so I opened the hi screw 1/4 turn & now it's a great little runner.I noticed the idiot who used the saw last tightened the fuel & oil caps so tight that I had difficulty in breaking them loose.I had to use a pliers to pull the oil cap out of the tank.Is there any adjustment to the oiler? It seems to be oiling, but very lightly.I figured that since they had the cap on so tight the oil cap/tank couldn't vent.

A little carbon look at the side transfers, just a little dark but no buildup on the under-side of the piston.

Is this what you were asking for?

Good Day all,
Bought this Solo 675 because it looked a deal at $150 USD,
They worth the time porting?
It's almost new condition apart from a broken clutch spring and missing filter clamp wire.
Cheers

Keen to get into it. Seems like a well designed and built saw and some nice features.
