The deflector only let's so much through. I gained a good bit but not as much as it looks

I've went close to 300% of exhaust port on some huskies and it's not lost power or affected idle on them. 660 around that won't idle long. Added a deflector and it fixed it

Strange days when dealing with 2smoke exhaust. I worked the right recipe for Puch peds pipes by 12. Four 3/8" holes in just the right place ;-)

When they first came out they were bad to have the crack slide apart and start vibrating like mad. I'm pretty sure that was just an issue on the first run of these saws though. Sure gave the brand a black eye.....

This is an important point. This happened to many products and people just walked away. Makes for a good resale market if you know "waz up." Very good post. I'm betting the press fit was not tight enough and the 681 power pushed them out of whack. Truly and easy fix with the right tools.

Same crank as the dolmars with 1 mm more stroke. Hard to believe it's that much harder on the crank

That's the part that I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around.
