SOLD SOLD Reversable Stihl USG grinder

I bought this USG grinder brand new, and before even assembled I converted the motor to have reverse. This allows sharpening into the tooth on both left and right teeth. I've caught the sickness know as square..it is a variation of CAD..and the cure is expensive. Now I'm selling this USG to cure myself..or continue the sickness..its not really clear. Any how maybe I'll find some other sick individual who needs a unique grinder that cuts a mean round tooth.

I got really creative in the reverse idea.. the wheel needs to be held tight when in reverse..so I had this made to lock the wheel nut to the shaft..the grinder will also come with a stock and un modified wheel nut.

I also purchase a couple wheels..a .404 Stihl Wheel and a CBN wheel..this USG also came with the foot operated chain clamp pedal.

I didn't end up using the foot peddle for very long.. And ended up buying a billet aluminum clamp clamp to replace the plastic one it came with.. I also modified the clamping plate configuration so that the the tooth is held extremely firm and still.. The modification to the little clamping plate worked beautiful but if someone else wanted to replace it it would probably cost around $20 to get it back to stock.

All in all it's a very clean grinder with very little use maybe 50 chains sharpened..

I make no claims as to the safety of running this grinder in reverse but can tell you that it has worked flawlessly from day one for myself.
For your safety you should probably wear a kevlar vest a helmet with bulletproof visor faceshield a snorkel and your chain clogger chaps and mittens when using this device.
I have over a $1000 into what you see pictured here, As well as a lot of time and thought invested into how to make it reversible..
