I understand what you’re getting at. However, being able to speak lewdly and constantly reading that nonsense isn’t a requirement to be a part of this forum. Does it happen - sure it does. Does it need to happen constantly, absolutely not. It actually takes away from the intelligence and knowledge shared here. I am certainly not alone in wanting that kind of talk kept out of the technical and helpful threads. It’s certainly rampant in the Off Topic areas, as it should be. I have taken part in it there as well.

I dont engage in such talk, but it also doesn't work me up. You just cant take this internet stuff to seriously.

I always have found it interesting that homo and bestiality banter was allowed to flow freely. But don't you dare talk politics. Both can be offensive.Never really liked the double standard. Not that I want to talk homo or politics.

Stuff is always brought to open forum, then no one wants to post the problems or mention names. Why even bring it up then? Stir the pot, circle the wagons. Springer *s-word I guess.

I am here to learn and help others with the little bit of knowledge that I have. Have made many of friends over the years from this forum and others. Would like to see it keep going. Maybe the change in moderation will be a good thing. Who knows. Maybe some of the lost members will come back if ship rights itself.

I think we all have a vested interest in the forum. The members make it not the mods or administrator.

If you want to make a build thread on a 2 series husky or a 290 stihl it's still worth a look even if I have done it or seen 10 other build threads doing the same saw.

Let's keep the child side of things better off un said. Dan is not an idiot. Unfortunately the head moderator has done some out of context posts from emails in an unprofessional manner to misconstrue the real-time lines of events that occurred. Dan has reached out to a shop and ordered missing said parts and had them shipped to Randy. The timeliness of events was 4 mos and not 8 as was depicted. And yes he did drop his cell phone in the lake in July fishing. So imagine loosing contacts and verbal texts on issues at hand. Dan is going to get on this thread and state his side of what went down. @JJ or @Woodpecker I ask yinz to be sure he isn't blocked and can poast as needed. Damn I feel as dirty as a group shower with @sawmikaze. Welp wanted to get this out there, knowing there's always two sides to chit like this.

I dont know about all that drama and dont want to so I can't comment on it. However, my comment that you quoted stands.

Gonna give my 2 cents worth that nobody probably wants. A few years ago I bought a ported 6100 from Randy. Took probably 6 months to get it but he always took my call when I inquired about it. Communication is not that hard
