HELP! So where do we go from here folks?

I would like to see this place come back.
Their is so many good people on here that it would be a shame to let it go.
I feel like this recent mess would have been avoided if someone who gets gets paid for a saw and won't reply/mail the said saw out within say a week gets banned immediately. Hard yes, but it would prevent a lot of problems. Now if a seller goes I won't for whatever reason be able to mail the saw/parts right away and somebody still pays for them knowing that that's a whole nother story.

This is a good point. In theory we’d be able to make this happen every time. It isn’t quite that cut and dried. Life is never so black and white. Moderation can only operate in real time as info is presented. For example, the recent blow up in the 2152 for sale thread allegedly started in January. I was a mod and was only told by the admin a couple days ago. Pretty hard to do something about an issue that isn’t known. Remember folks your Mods are volunteers who do not get paid to perform their role.

I'll throw in my 2 cents worth. This is the only forum I frequent. Life, work, play, family all take time so that I don't have much extra. I read the thread that caused the meltdown and I don't know all the behind the scene stuff that went on. Private messages are just that and in the past it was understood that that's where they remained. I have met some great people in my area because of being here and don't want to start over somewhere else. I am usually here to relax and unwind from the day to day grind and enjoy seeing what others do in their life and work. Expanded horizons, ideas and other cultures keep the brain active and alive. We don't need a new forum, we need people to act like adults and take care of problems in a mature and responsible way.

you guys should definitely try to make my gtg, always good to put faces to names. ive met friends for life both on AS and here, it would be a real shame for this thing to crash and burn, especially over garbage like this.

I haven’t been on super lots just quick check ins, doesn’t make any difference where it’s at forum wise the crap can happen on all them lots of guys came from other places because of stuff there and it always will happen to some extent no matter where you are.
No idea what’s going on or what it’s progressed too but all we can hope is they all get it straightened out somehow. If it’s over a saw or money or whatever just get the saw fixed, sent or whatever or send the funds back ect. Just make it as right as it can be between all parties involved and remain friends or part ways long as the situation is fixed.
