I ordered a new temperature controller for my Central Boiler.

Couple of Dukes bars for the MS2fiddy and the MS2fiddyone. I think they look rather sharp all orange and clean. I’ve ran their chains a fair bit and they seem to hold up quite well so we’ll see how long the bars last. If weight is an indicator they’ll last forever lol. They’re heavy.

I had already bought a straight shot and a maxflow for it. Those red dogs will do until the three point dogs I ordered arrive.


The dealership i ordered it from sent me a light x bar. No way im using that pile of dung so I strapped on an old bar i had.

As a former stihl dealer employee, that would be correct... no structural changes or anything.... just a different coat of paint

I se this like an ugly front clip on the new version of your favorite work truck model. It’s a work tool. Use it and move on. If you don’t like how it looks you’re not really worried about using it anyway. It’ll get dirty and scratched up and you’ll become used to it so .

I put a set of the absolute ugliest rims I have ever seen on my DD and when people ask if I’m sane I say “they were cheap, work great and have winter tires on them. Who cares ?” They actually don’t look horrid in the snow but they’re dang ugly. Maybe my view on things is different but if it works who cares, run it.

Yes, its the same bar as the old one.
But I wanted rollomatic es light.
Any time anyone goes into a stihl dealership now and asks for a "light" bar they get handed a light x bar.
Its happened to a friend of mine twice, another friend once and now me as well.

I personally dont hate them, and have a few light 01s for my 194t.... however i got them for free, perk of working at a shop, and people throwing out slightly bent bars due to misuse... i will take the time to straighten them, and use them because function always comes before form with tools....
