One of my sons picked these up on Wednesday and another son dropped them off Thursday.
Its hard to see in the picture, is that a Reed-Prentice or a Craftsman? Mine does not have the buddy handle and has a shorter beaver tail bar on it. That one looks to be complete!

The saws were built by Reed-Prentice for Craftsman. This one is branded Craftsman. In general the Craftsman saws were silver and the Reed-Prentice branded ones were orange but that does not always hold true.

Good to know, mine is R-P and is orange with the grey underneath (looks like the grey was a primer) and others which were all grey and no orange were the Craftsman (for the most part). Then you get guys that rebuild them and then paint them whatever and it adds to the confusion!

We are slow at work so I’m staying home instead of trying to look busy at the shop. I cleaning up my yard but stuff keeps following me home every time I drop something off. The fs74 was out for free. Came with the original tools and manual.D6F79E34-57CE-42A7-A283-FC921BA52EC9.jpeg5DA17058-1AF6-4EBD-9307-86BFC3BD9104.jpeg1263795A-E4C7-47A3-8FF7-13751277352A.jpegCDF0F0DD-2C4A-4DA0-9A51-80BEBE9AFBDE.jpegBAEEB5CB-7AA6-4E67-8543-50ACD67DCF98.jpeg

That happens a lot. If people were better I’d have a lot less stuff laying around.
I agree. Several months ago a gentleman was interested in a Mall 5 two man. I spent close to three hours digging one out and taking pics. He then made me a ridiculous lowball offer. The Mall 5 was the first civilian 2 man Mall made and they are well sought after.

The bar on yours is very interesting. You rarely see that short of a bar on a 2 man. You did real good getting that.

The fun part will be getting it cleaned up, lots of rust on it from sitting outside for years in the sun and snow.

It is 2' tip to tail with 39 drivers in the chain.

Edit: Also a pic of the saw with the bar on it

I had a 2021 Silverado bumper for sale for $400. It was nice and the cheapest around. It was winter so I kept it inside so I wouldn’t have to chop it out of the ice. Three times people were coming for it then disappeared. Each time I had to dig it out of the garage, load it in my truck and tarp it so it was ready to go if I had to work late. They message two weeks later asking if it still for sale. It’s sitting at an auto salvage now waiting for a walk in customer. I’m done dealing with it.

Make an etank for the bar and chain
No effort required to clean it then
I had a chain from a Mercury Diston
That took a lot of effort to make it small enough to get in a box
ETank for a few days and it’s now coiled up

Dark soda 😉 vinegar or electrolysis. Although there are also cleaning fluids with a neutral pH

The second small Kawasaki is also 18 years old, but it's a newer EPA version / you need to replace the sealant because it was welded and glue a set of drivers on the thread. The piston is exemplary for its age
