Had I known it was Earth Day I would have burned a tire in honor
Well, India did you a big one better, lol.
I’m in no hurry. These are NLA halves I was hoping to ‘repair’ and shelve. I have enough nos cases for the current builds I have planned.

I like quick repairs, although there is a lot of cleaning 😎🤠 a $5 Bosch grinder is 34 years old , it has helical gears and requires replacing the large bearing in the gearbox

It's a 1983 Bombardier MTD (Muskeg Tractor Diesel). Has a Detroit Diesel 2 stroke...117hp. Five speed tranny, reverser, PTO driven Braden winch. Hydraulic pump belt driven from crank pulley. The machine was factory modified, the cutter on the front cuts at least 7' across. I have plans to make it more versatile.

I'll add some interior pics. It's 1983 spartan and needs a major cleaning. It'll get some interior insulation to help with noise and heat. The roof hatch will get a small RV style A/C unit. There will be plenty of lighting and protection added. I want to modernize the hydraulics and make them QD so that the cutter or other attachments can be removed and allow me to use the base machine separately. I also want to fabricate another set of support bars/frame with a skid steer attachment bracket so I can use a variety of attachments. I've been told @dall is the hydraulics guy...

Da boss in TN spoke highly of you. Gotta figure out how to refurb/modernize the system without blowing the bank up. The two big tanks are the reservoirs and are connected with a hose. It has a filtration system, but no cooling pack. I'll have the tanks cleaned to reuse, but that's all I know so far.

minesweeper
From my military EOD background I can promise you that this thing would be pathetic. MOST anti-tank/equipment mines can have have a double digit amount of explosives. With the tracks on these being a severely heavy duty type of belt with metal grousers the machine the day would be over quickly. BUT a minesweeper could be made....flails, the whole nine yards.

Picked this up yesterday, due to all the theft, coastal farm has all their tools in the locking case, manager was so kind to walk it to the counter for me, gal rang it up & said $319.00, I told her the shelf tag said $129.99, she called the manager, someone put them on the wrong shelf & without me saying anything she said well its your lucky day $129.99 it is, just shows what being kind and polite gets you.

Got these stainless steel muffler deflectors from ebay for $20 delivered. They look good. Comes with plenty of stainless screen too.
