I said no more saws....and then these showed up....

I expect the Homelite 5-20, the Strunk Speed Demon, and the Wright GS4520 will all end up in the display, eventually. I'd like to get one of the Pioneers together and complete but those body parts might be hard to find.

That is the 3rd (or 4th???) Super Wiz 55 so it can either go away, or I will scavenge some parts off of it to make the starter on another more reliable.

I sell saws for a living...so my sig would be constantly changing.

My "permanent" collection includes a bunch of sand cast Poulan saws and a few cool McCulloughs.
There are a lot of fine folks that do not get that. I have 800 saws here but I sure as hell do not keep a "rolling list". It changes daily

Neighbor's handymans' pressure washer pump decided to check out (DeWalt "4000" P.S.I. with a Honda GX270). Asked me to take a look at it, non serviceable AAA pump (these are garbage, if you are buying a pressure washer actively avoid them). Here is my "fix" (the four bolt kind) will be a much better unit.

CAT pumps(Nine-Lives) on pressure washers are the way to go. High quality, easily rebuildable and parts available. Another brand, "General" may be acceptable, IDK??? But these many different, multiple generic CN manufactures seem to be crap. I am on my third pressure washer. #3 has the original (Honda 390GX) engine with a CAT pump, once rebuilt. It took a minute to realize quality. Take your chances

*** don't lend out Pro-grade chain saws or any pressure washer. Friends or family, these two items will cause issues and maybe hard feelings ***

Cat, General, Comet, and AR are all good pump brands and are all rebuildable (at least their higher end Triplex pumps). The reason I went with a General in this case is Cat doesn't really build a pump in this class and I would have had to drop down significantly in performance to run a Cat. This unit has a Honda GX270 (8 HP) and does not have the power to pull a true 4000 P.S.I. 4 G.P.M. pump.

Went junking today. Stanley no80 scraper, ex stearns saw clamp, the green box is a military first kit?, brass plumb Bob, reflectors, handsaws, a pudding can full of miscellaneous stuff and a pretty nice jackson wheelbarrow for $14. Gas can wasn’t part of the deal.
