The 308 seems to be in fair to good condition, mainly needing a wheel dressing to start with, grinding wheel is just about 5 5/8" dia yet. Forward and reverse work.
The 550 isn't spinning up very fast. It was stated that they had been in storage for more than 3 years, so hopefully the motor and bushings just need some fresh oil.
I would like to gbet new belts for both of them.
Both have homemade stands, that were made for a guy that was 6'7" and liked to be right on top of what he was doing. Both will need to be height adjusted for my vertical challenged-ness. Haha.
Cool. I thought at first that it was a Fein. The $10 grinder is at least 40 years old, I had it serviced and replaced the brushes. Find another one The switch pulls towards itself and is not the size of the dial on the plate. See how much aluminum there is for cooling the gearbox
I have 24’ of workbench buried and still have to use my tailgate.me too....my work bench is the tailgate of my pickup.....i need one of those bad
Thanks man.Looking good! Your saws are going to be spoiled!
I will say this, I am not a fan of 2 in one paint, paint and primer mixed. You get a better job with first priming, then painting. It takes less product and looks and seals better.
