Waiting on my Bimini top. Alumacraft has yet to ship it. Had to order all of the electronics my self. Zero stuff in stock. I was lucky to even get a boat. Thanks to @Stevetheboatguy a guy he knew helped me out.

Got out this afternoon. Only the one rainbow. It got quite rough out ther. Hard to tell but was 4 to 5 footers. Not real enjoyable when its like that and it sucks getting into the marina when its rough. The peirs are pretty close where ya enter.

We only fished about an hour. Winds shifted from west to south wich is a bad wind on erie on the ontario side.

Its not enjoyable at all. I should have cheaked the wind forcast one last time befor I went. But thats just lake erie doin its thing. Once wind shifted i made everyone put ther life jackets on. Not worth the risk if someone falls in.

You need a drotto. Makes life easier on the boats with bow eye that are hard to reach from the trailer.

well I ordered a drotto today. I watched a few videos and decided getting my feet wet in the fall will not be as much fun. 10-15 days for delivery

Take your time to practice with it on lining it up when loading. Mine is a bunk trailer and loads a bit harder than your roller will. It took me a few times back and forth from the helm to the front to figure out where my bow needed to be. It makes a difference with the live well full as well.

Me and my 2 boys last weekend in IN. Id say 14-16” maybe 1/1/2-2 lbs. took me all weekend to catch that thing. They wer playing hard to get. The fish prior to this one got away
I dont wanna talk about it dont let my youngest’s(5) long hair fool u, hes built like a fire plug and could take out grown man if ya make him mad. Wer gonna be back on the cats this weekend, hope i have more pics to share.

Trolled lake Erie on Saturday.
11 keeper walleyes and other throw backs.
I lost the biggest in the prop wash.
Good time and weather, the Ohio side drifting in Springtime is funner for me.

Ok so ill talk about it. Lol! Had a dip bait tied on that was its own thing. No leader line, tie str8 to lure. Using 100# braided pro line. I casted out set the rod in the holder and stepped down to the lower dock to rinse my hands off. Looked up and my pole was bent in half and whipping all over. Bout swallered my dip, jumped up and ran to my rod. Grabbed it but no applying pressure yet. Two cranks and i had my slack out, set the hook like a viking and i heard the “plink” noise under water. SON OF A! Figured i got bit off by a big water wolf(northern). Get my line reeled up and this is what i saw......i swear ive never seen this, it must have been a faulty hook. And it was like a 6/0 hook(giant) to begin with. Still shaking my head. Just a glimpse of that big boy would of made my day! But thats how fishin stories go

Rolls straight from the oven hot and fresh. Pick your poison. Butter, honey, jelly, apple butter, and combinations of any.
