Been awhile since I had any come through that lost to trees by firewood cutters.
Friend loaned his 440 to neighbor.

That was one badass tree. I think it got up and walked away after that.

I don't believe you could find one good part left. Maybe the choke lever?

It wasn't my saw but think I remember it being a 390. I'll have to ask my buddy who sent me the picture.

I always say better the saw than the operator but you still hate to see that happen .

Pull them corners up with some vice-grips Randy , you should be able to get the bolts out .
If not get out the blue flame wrench
Going to try and fix the tank ?

Got a new tank in route. I'll probably fix this one too though.

I like the action shots where there is still woods bits stuck to them.

This saw was still warm when I was tearing it down. Tracy is logging less than a mile from here.

Rebuilt the 372 too, but it wasnt from a smashed saw.

I dont have a picture of it unfortunately but a mate who works in tree removal had a guy go over his MS461 that only had 2 tank through it with one of those spinning chain shreaders that they use to clear scrub.

It was unrecognisable

Only thing I have smashed so far is a 440 Magnum and it were more tweaked than mashed. Moobs ended up with it.
