Well John Deere sells a set that are 5” each side so I figured if they will warranty the tractor with them on it if I buy 3-4” ones is should be fine. The jd ones are 600$ a set

I think you'll greatly appreciate having them on there.

Also, I assume you can buy the same tractor with ag wheels which could be moved out to a fairly wide stance. I wouldn't worry about breaking stuff if your r4s with spacers are within the same width range as you can achieve with ag tires

When I replaced the wheels on my tractor I had the tires installed so that the stance would wider. Works great

That's how mine is, the loops for the centers are offset. If you don't point one or both tires in the right direction you just made yourself a helluva lot more work.

Mine look offset center line but not sure if they were designed to flip around because it would need taper for lug studs inside and out on rim

What is that interesting tool in the top pic?
I was just gonna ask @FTG-05 how he likes that implement. I think it's called a Harley Rake, but I could be mistaken. If I understand correctly, they're kinda like a shallow rototiller for gravel driveways and other grading applications.

As Ryan said, it's known as a Harley/Harlie rake. That one fell apart like a cheap watch at the other end of the one-mile gravel road. :(
