If you're killing Cobras with that there's a hell of a lot going on under that TPI that you're not telling.
It's been massaged a little bit:). 700r4 auto with a stage 3 shift kit and manual valve body. 3.73 auburn posi rear end. Lowered 2" with kyb springs, struts and shocks. Frame tied and a wonder bar. Full flow master exhaust including the headers. Etc, etc.image.jpgimage.jpg

Ok,that makes sense. I used to slay those things on a regular basis with an '86,5.0,5 speed,2.73 rears Mustang. Only mods was air box delete,K&N,Motorsport cat delete and good plugs and wires. That 400 pounds lighter and turning six grand made a heck of a difference .

In all honesty it won't kill every cobra but I have a lot of fun running against the old fox body stangs. My biggest issue now with it is getting traction. I should put a good 4 link in it. I think I'm gonna get a set of ET streets or comp TA's for it the next time I need tires

You're fighting an uphill battle the 5.0 guys are always going to be a step ahead for less money. Now go buy a '93 up Camaro and things get interesting.

The lt1 with a 6 speed is a nice combo. The ls1 is real power house as well. I just can't stand the looks of the gen 4 camaros. Now if I had the cash I'd love to have a 2015 z28 like the one Jay Leno did a review on. That car is f'n awesome

This is my money pit, well not so much now but I still own it. 1997 Camaro SS. This was the second year of the SLP run that initially produced the Firehawk. One of about 3k. Was initially 310 hp with ram air which was a big deal in 1997. I used to be really into LT1s. This one has ported heads, ported throttle body and manifold, cc306 cam, 1 3/4 AS&M headers, SLP 2 otl exhaust, 3000 stall, shift kit, S60 rear end (Dana 60 for you truck guys), 3.73 gears, all BMR suspension pieces, subframe connectors, LS1 front brakes... Drove it a whooping 500 miles in the last two years. These are older photos before I lowered it and then raised it because of the new rear end causing rubbing problems. Had some nice wide 315 drag radials, but they too rubbed to much with the S60. I currently have 275 drag radials on it. Getting married and having two kids leave it sitting in the garage more than being driven. image.jpegimage.jpeg

1983 "vette" with a 3.8ltr Buick. This was actually my buddies toy that we built. We never fully finished it before he sold it last summer. In the last pic that's my buddy on the left and me in the right

Not a bowtie guy. But that's a Camaro I could get into.
