I had this 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk for almost 15 years, sold it to my best friend who was storing it for me when I moved to KY. Still less than 60K and no rust.

You can see how clean and rust free the floors are.

I sold this 1996 F-350 bucket truck to my best friend that now has the 1962 Studebaker Hawk.

Was there a big Stude truck dealer around you back in the day?

There was a dealer in my home town, but he did not sell many big trucks. I have gathered these from around the country, the tandem and blue flatbed came from Texas, the 4x4 from Connecticut, the fire truck from Iowa and the grain truck from Kansas. The green 1949 truck you can see the front of in the picture of the flatbed and Avanti came from New Hampshire.

I sold this 1949 Studebaker 2R17A fire truck to the same guy who bought the tandem and Dodge plow truck (along with a 1960 Studebaker 5E-40 flatbed dump). I painted the truck with a gallon of Rustoleum Safety Red with a foam roller. It has now been given a proper paint job and is nicely stenciled. The yellow wheels you see over the hood of the truck are another of my Studebaker buggies.
