Yea it's definitely hard on stuff having them pumped up much more than that that's for sure.

Brad what is your experience of the maladies of too much comp. it’s cool to see how high we can get a gauge to go but. Im sure there are reasons most stock saws are in the 150-200 psi range.

I've got a couple that run in the 180s that iv ported and they run really strong but the other two I've got are both over 220 and they both prefer 110 rase gas so there is a point where you have to say ok that's enough.lol

Back the ignition timing off a little bit and see if that changes.

I noticed the more compression the more heat the saw generates. The tune tends to creep around more too compared to one with less compression. This is just what i noticed with two 395’s with more than 200lb compared to a stock one or even the 394 I have here with a base gasket delete. Maybe smaller saws can handle more compression?

More heat is a byproduct of more power.

Did on the 064 but it still runs best with the rase gas which I don't mind the high compression Saw's only come out when things really get bad.lol
