This is a (true story). My wife and I were in Paris Ky at a Gun shop 2009. We were at opposite sides of the counters and I saw her talking to the salesman when she come around to me and said honey come over here they made a knife just for me and named it after me. I walked around and the salesman was all red he didn't have a clue what to say. He didn't want to disappoint her. I said honey he said Benchmade not *b-wordmade. Her face just dropped and was disappointed. She bought it anyway. It had Harley on it.
Lights are on but she is my wife. DSCF1969.JPG God I love that women.

Used my Morakniv Companion to cut up a big roast last night. It cut through the tough, stringy meat no problem, at least as well as my favorite Boker hunting knife does. One thing odd is the fact that this is not a serrated edge, yet the blade does have something of a wavy texture right above the edge. I ran it through my little pocket sharpener afterward and the waviness is certainly noticeable. I would assume this is just a texture left over from the grinding process, it certainly doesn't hurt anything.
