Got a hold of two older well used Perfect double bit heads.
Benchmade 945 for reference. The top one is going to get hung on a 36 or 40” handle and the bottom will get hung on a 32.
I’m going to have to get a group picture of what I have. It’s not a big group, but I do likw my axes.

All these are excellent handles (grain) I've picked up locally in the past 3 months.
It's about 1 in 10 odds of finding a perfect grain orientation anymore.

I've always wanted one & this is the first I've ever held in hand.
Part of a $48 4-hatchet deal, It will end up being free + some profit by selling the other 3 hatchets.
I like it, its mounted on a marked Craftsman Hunter handle (hopeing to save the handle).

The only 2 I have close in size is a Mann 4# Connecticut & 4# Mann True American & they both weigh over a pound less than the Legitimus.

I'm a Mann Edge Tool/Rixford guy (after using most brands).
I dont buy True Tempers much anymore.
I have a 4# Flint Edge double bit I'll prolly keep (Its frigging sweet).
I lucked on to that Tomahawk.
Wasnt really looking for one, but always wanted one, I really like it.
It's a keeper.
