Nice Plumb you have there! If you do not want a metal or leather protector-A really easy and not expensive way ,is to take the inner tube of a bicycle and wrap it around the handle..I’m gonna have to come up with something to protect this handle. It is a monster for splitting but I really can’t avoid overstrikes with larger green wood. View attachment 111249View attachment 111250
