I’ve got one head in an open kitchen dish sneaked out the house
And another head wrapped in paper towels from the workshop soaked in
Liquid in a clear plastic bag

So fingers crossed

Yes it was. White vinegar will also show you the temper line.

Nice axe it’s in good shape haven’t seen that b35 before I wonder if it’s something to do with US army issue

After further review I found that the B35 was made by Kelly Axe MFG. When, I do not know for sure but may have been for the RR. Michigan pattern. Not the Kelly Perfect but perfect to me. And then got name changed to True Temper. A lot of good reads on Kelly Axe co. I think it is a Woodslasher.
