I’ve got no axe heads or handles just one hatchet too play with not much timber too cut for a day or two so maybe have a go at another piece of bamboo

i think its a blacksmith made hatchet no name or maker there's alot around here

the handle is from a piece of oak a 4x3 runner support from under a pallet the bamboo came on last year

there is alot of bamboo over here mostly ornamental, this came from Japan in big sheets 10ft x 4ft 2" thick

i don't know what type of oak this is but it burnt so easy and took the Danish oil well and its so dark
