Secondary serial number stamp on a Stihl

While cleaning up my case halves, dressing them with some 400x wet sanding I found the serial number stamped on the crankcase mating surface

Same number by the muffler

That's normal - in case the serial number by the muffler is ground-off or damaged.

Those German engineers are sticklers for details!

Yeh.. but apita to reveal if that other number is deformed purposely to hide the identity of the saw...
