As the title states post up your saws that you just couldn't bear to let go. The ones that captured your heart and imagination.

Here's mine a 281 xp. Bought this as a non runner for $100 with a 28" hardnose sugi hara bar and a new full comp chain. A new fuel line and off she went, She now wears a 24" rsn husky bar. She easily blows 200 psi at .040 squish and is a mule to start, but I love her anyways.20160701_091115.jpg 20160701_091124.jpg 20160701_091134.jpg 20160701_091208.jpg

Nothing fancy but picked up this 306 for $20 as a non runner. New fuel lines, filter, and carb kit and she runs great. Was gonna sell it but it sounds too damn good after I pulled the baffles out of the muffler. 20160510_201257.jpg20160510_201309.jpg 20160510_201336.jpg

image.jpeg Grabbed this a few weeks ago to flip. After cleaning it up a bit and running it with a nice sharp chain it's worth more to me as a back up than it seems to be valued at. It may go down the road come firewood season. Doea t really seem as far off from an 026 as I imagined it would. Tempted to put a 14" on it but I have gobs of 16" chains for the 026's

I like the tractor tires, we use to have a pair just like them on one of our bucket trucks.
Oh yea, nice saws everyone [emoji106][emoji106]

On a 14"or 15"bar they are really very nice indeed...They are not far behind the 026 as you say ...024=2.9hp...026=3.2hp ..in wood up to 10" the 024 is just grand. Ms 260 will show it up a bit more at 3.5 hp but iv always thought the little 024 is a 42cc saw with a good dollop of staying power/torque . A good clean one is worth having IMO

Here's the first one, there's been several since..View attachment 26034 Just needed a fuel line...paid $20 for it several years ago..I think I added the bar later.
i thought i did good. First one i picked up cost $45.00 total of $110 to get running. Second one was $50. Pkus $12 for the brake handle. Could gain a few bucks for them but they are worth more to me for cutting firewood.

I got this as payment on repairing a couple 460's. it needed rebuilding and then I had it ported. I had originally intended on selling it since I am a husky guy, but it somehow has managed to hang around and now I am pretty fond of it being here.

Looks good. Spikes are a tiny bit off it looks like. That's the odd ball case that don't match up to the spikes of the 044/64/66.

I must be the odd ball who does sell a lot of the saws I get to flip.

Those are the 660 east coast spikes. There's about 1/8" difference in them to the 460 family.
