Good morning gentlemen,

It's looking like an American #1 sawmill will be joining the family in the near future. I am wondering if any of you guys can recommend a good forum for sawmill stuff. Else, if any of you have experience working on/with circular sawmills, I am hungry for information :)

Thanks,
Greg

Even though this is an older thread, for future inquiries and views, forestry forum is a good site for just about everything sawmill related.

Old thread
I stumbled across one of my old books and was going to have my sister copy it for my brothers to have a ?PDF?
I don't trust they would get it returned to me :bash:
There is a lot of (GOOD) information to absorb. I googled it and found it by chance for a used one and found Amazon has it new for under 20$ then found a PDF.

I am surprised this FS website still works, they recently changed over to a different format and it broke most old links and came up with a bunch of partially finished pages (they wanted it to look cleaner and prettier). They planned on 4 months for the cutover but at the last minute were told they had only 1 month to do it...it was a cluster.

Glad this link is still working, looks like some good information to squirrel away!
