I picked some steel out of some of the saw teeth.

Gotcha. And steel I bet. I completely greased a brand new chain one morning on a job. It peeled 3 or 4 teeth and gauges

Who ever gets that saw will be one happy camper. If the square ground chain that I sharpened is one of those that found some metal @EAK044 could pick it up this week and I could resharpen it.
