You can also set the hook after you do the top and then tie em together with a few light strokes if you're off on the corner. I use a double bevel flat file by hand.More forward lean would help I'm sure. Just not easy to learn to put 3-5°
I had a new loop of rs, clamped it in the vice. Few strokes later the tooth was about that big and half sharp.It's square filed Jim. This chain is at .042-.044" on the 3 I measured. It doesn't feed like I like.![]()
